Play DVD error?

Hi guys recently i updated my lite on to 1.6ixtreme, and when i tried to play my back up games some of them work others don't. Instead of saying play game it says Play DVD?. It recognizes as a movie instead of a game. All of my games were tested before when i had 1.5ixtreme. What could this be? a bad flash?

I doubt it's a bad flash as then all of them wouldn't work.
Are you sure you have the repack on ix1.6? If you got a copy when it first came out it was the wrong version. Check the MD5 hash (can be seen in JF), the correct one is c3a17c9726f4be3cc3e597797caba7f9.
Are you also sure that Wave2 hasn't been injected into the W3 games? 1.5 would have played these but 1.6 won't.
You could always try activate.iso and see if they play then, but wouldn't recommend this unless you are not on XBL (or don't care about XBL!!!).

I downloaded the 1.6 ixtreme last night from xbins. Somebody else told me that maybe the games were not stealth patched the right way. Should i try to flash it again?

What are the games that worked on 1.50 and don't work on 1.6?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I didnt patched the games i downloaded them & burn them. I tried ufc 2009 and i get play dvd i tried fuel and i get the same error i was able 2 play hawx

Non in particular, I meant Wave 3 games that were injected with Wave2, ix1.6 won't play these games any more!

You can try but as mentioned, I don't think it will make any difference. If the games aren't stealth'd properly then ix1.6 might not load them.
Try running UFC or Fuel through ABGX 1.01, see what that says. (You can run it direct from the DVD, if it needs to fix you will need to rip to an ISO though).
Has anyone has POT calibration problems with a lite-on? Wonder if this could be the cause.

hey guys thanks for everything I'm pretty sure that it won't read the games cause they are not stealth patched properly of all my games only 2 won't work so i definitely don't think its a bad flash. Thanks for all the replies this forums rocks that's why i joined.

i have ixtreme 1.6 and im having the same problem. I followed that guide posted above and it doesnt solve anything.

what discs are you using? If not already give Verbatim a try.
Have you tried the game in another console? and did the exact same discs work on iextreme 1.51?
