Trying Preventing another RROD post rrod - Side fan question

Hello afterdawners,

I'm trying to make sure that a fixed RROD console doesn't get another RROD.

The best way to prevent was a fan on the side (internally), like here.

My question is, what size of a fan should I get? 60/70/80mm?

And what's the best place to draw power from without getting banned from live, soldering isn't a problem if I have to solder a x-pin(s) molex onto the mobo.

I couldn't really find any good tutorial, and yes I used the search function.

The only thing I need is a little advice and some opinions.

Btw if it's pointless just tell me, I've had a 0102 RROD error on it and I still wonder wheter it'll hold out or not even if I install the fans.

Should I just drop the 360's or should just try to fix it? The only problem I had with the Xbox till now was that whenever I tried to play a dvd the fans would run slower and it would crash, but rebooting always helped.

I don't know if the Xbox died due to bad heating (there was alot of dust inside) or a bad soldering job.
