i dont have xboxlive so if anybody can confirm if this works and if it does were do i get the 2month trail? found this on a site so dont blame me if its BS. thats why i need someone to confirm if this works.thx for any replay.
First go to http://www.xbconnect.com/downloads.php and download the current version of XBConnect...
Secondly you must get a Ethernet cable and connect your X-BOX to your router (if you have, you MUST have one BTW)
Thirdly install and open xbconnect. Create a new account .......
Fourthly go on www.xbox.com/live and sign in your .NET passport and create a profile for xbox live
Fifthly open your xbox with a xbox live supported game and follow the setup for xbox live ....
And YOUR DONE!!!!!

That's not Xbox Live. It's a service like matches you up with other players also on that particular client.
It's mainly used for consoles that are banned from Xbox Live.

@ps2 menace thx 4 ur replay. hmm so it was like i thought it was BS. but im not really sure what u meant its used to play whith banned xboxes thouht when ur banned ur banned 4 life. so if i understand u right it works but its not the REAL Xbox-live. its some other site were all that have banned xboxes can play right?
ok thx anyway if i get banned i can atleast use my xbox there... but is it 4 free there or does that shit work whith 5 steps and play 4 free. would like to know the chance in % to get banned on xbox live if u play backups :). i have many backups but im little paranoid to get banned whith my backups. so i think im gonna buy the games i wanna play on xboxlive.

Isnt that a site that lets you play halo 1 COMbat evovled ONLINE WITH PEOPLE?

that, and another service i used to use was something like x kai link.
I had used it to play halo 1 vs others over the network. sweet, since the game didn't have that functionality (over live)

Its really nothing like xbox live. like others say it lets you play but they are like a client that makes your xbox think your on the same network as others. I used to use gamespy's tunnel program to play original xbox system link for halo 1 against other people on the internet. so it has to be system link capable games and does not have the capabilities of live.

i had both the xlink kai and xbconnect...both allow you to join other users of a system link game..BUT..your ping level must be below 35 and that is virtually impossible..it does allow you to play halo on the original xbox with loads of other users..the truth is you have to go on live if you have a xbox 360..and why not? its brill...lol

Thx guys 4 all ur replayes u rule...hmm yeah it sounded to good to be true a kind of cheat/crack so u get xboxlive 4 free. but i had to know. hmm BTW: how much a year membership on xboxlive? and whats the difference i heard there are a gold membership. what do u guys use.
u see i never been on xboxlive because i play almost only singleplayergames. but can imagine that RE5 is fun in 2player mode. but wait until the next tekken game comes out then i must buy membership so i can kick ur sorry asses lol won tekken 4 tournament in a arcade even though i chose whats his name? mojukin i think. the logman that are all caracters and changes caracter every match.does the headset have good sound when u talk 2 another player??

LOL. Xbconnect, I remember using that in the xbox 1 days on halo. It does work and well for the most part. I honestly didn't even know it still existed. The problems you'll have are a lot of lag. Back in the day, you had to join a room and get others to join that room in order to start a game. Wasn't too bad for the most part. As stated above very similar to Gamespy.
