My Sims Racing boots up, but it's getting stuck on the "My Sims racing uses an Autosave feature...." intro screen. It says to press A, but when I do nothing happens. The system isn't frozen because I can still press the home key and escape to the Wii Menu. This happes when I try to run the game from the disc using the Gamma loader or from my USB harddrive. Here's my setup:
Hardmodded Wii Updated to 4.0 using Waninkoko.
cIOS38_rev13a installed.
USB Loader GX (488) with 002 fix enabled.
I've also installed IOS38-64-v3609, IOS53-64-v4113, IOS55-64-v4633.
Is anyone else having this same problem? I was able to get IJ working using this same method, but My Sims Racing has me stumped. Thanks for the help!
Nope. That didn't work either? Any other ideas? Would updating my system using he update on the disc kill all my hacks? Anybody else have any ideas how to get this game running?

Do not updated thru the disc, since when I did it, it block Wad installation from Homebrew.
I had to use downgrading tool to get it back working. Just my experience. Will be interested to see if someone can find a solution.

I finally got an answer to this problem over at another forum, and the solution is so simple that I felt embarrassed afterwards! If My Sims Racing get's stuck on the auto save message screen, just unplug your Nintendo Gamecube controller! That's it. Problem solved! Once the game starts, just plug it back up and you'll be in business! Oh, and you have to use Rev. 13A. Check the original post if you're not sure what that means. Good luck!
hi wonder if any one can help i got my wii hacked with the bannerbomb i only use discs not a hdd my sims gets stuck on a green screen when trying to load through wii backup launcher is there any other back up disc loaders that will fix this problem

I Just Registered to this site because i just got my sims racing to work with my 3.2 soft modded wii via USB Loader GX Revision 543 and not having to update the cios to 13a just add Revison 543 to apps on the root of your sd card and change it to boot.dol in the USB Loader folder of apps and go into the main settings of Usb loader Gx And turn on the anti 002 and 002 error fix and then go to game settings and just make sure the 002 fix is on there too and i forced NTSC and turned the vid fix on too and voila My Sims racing works and this also works on ghostbusters as well but make sure you have originals as i do i only want this because the loading times are so much faster and i dont have to dig through my pile of games

and make sure your gamecube controller is not pluged in as well
