After 18 months I have finally got to the point where I have had the free cash to buy a wii so want to make sure I now dont screw things up for me and my 5 year old daughter.

I upgraded to menu 4.0 before realising what implications it may have had.

I have installed the wiibrew channel following the guide on the wiibrew site but stopped short of installing bootmii.

When installing it came up with the following

hackmii installer v 0.2 the test results are in
using ios versios : installer 34, hbc: 61, dvdx:36
thc: can be installed
dvdx: can be installed
bootmii: can only be installed as an ios the isntalled boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2)

So after reading through their site I have found they do not condone backed up wads and games which I would like help with which has led me here.

Reading through the soft mod guide I was hoping someone could tell me where I need to start?

My serial no begins with LEH24 - is there a page / table that shows if what I want to do can be done? or should I stop now and buy a drive key?
