can i flash my 360 with windows 7 im going to use the 360 Modification USB Drive v1.6 Revision 2 i have the right sata card but do i need the probe with this . thanks

Yes you can use Windows 7 to flash 360 DVD drives. Jungle Flasher works great on 32bit Windows. If you are going to be using the 360 Mod USB Drive, you won't be using Windows. You will be booting to the jump drive.

If you have a virgin Lite-ON drive, you will need the probe.

i do have the Lite-ON drive but what is the virgin one .yes i have a probe is there a photo of were i put the probe on the driver . thanks

Virgin means it's not been modded before.

it has been modded before but they never sent me the key can i still upgrade with or without the probe . cheers

Yes you can still upgrade because you can dump the dummy bin through Jungle Flasher.

Eject the drive.
Shut it off and push the tray halfway in.
Power on and open up JF.
Make sure the drive is detected by selecting the corresponding SATA port.
Click "dummy from iXtreme". You can check make the dummy.bin if you only want the dummy or otherwise it will dump 4 files (Key, Inquiry, Identify, and dummy bin which contains serial data).
