lol I don't know if this is a troll or not. Anyways you can play all games even new ones if you have modchip and softmod. You can put games on a usb and it WILL play.
You want more specific answers than that ask more specific questions.

can i update my wii to 4.0 because im afraid to update it through wifi and it might brick my wii. do i need to update the chip as well to play these new games? is it easier to just take out the chip?

you can upgrade to 4.0 if you want it will not break your wii. You MAY need to update your chip to play new games, but you should try playing them anyways and only upgrade if you can't play. Check the manufacturers website and see if they have updates or not.

If you turn off the wii or unplug the power while it's updating firmware to 4.0 u may brick the wii.
If you uninstall your softmod incorrectly you may brick the wii.
You can play PAL region games w/ a modchip as long as the setting in your modchip is set to force the region.

when i went to go update my wii. it says something "if your wii console has an unauthorized mechanical modification, this upgrade could cause inoperability of your console" so will this brick my wii?

for forcing region: it depends on your mod chip. You never told me what kind of chip you have other than a US region one (which means nothing since mod chips don't have a region code) so I don't know what you're supposed to do.

for the 2nd time yes you can play PAL games. You probably don't even need to change any settings chances are whoever installed your modchip already set it to force the proper region.
I think Punch Out does have a 4.0 upgrade but again you can feel free to upgrade it doesn't harm your wii and if you have a modchip it's fine.
FYI, Punch Out does exist in NTSC USA region as well if thats what u are worried about.

yes. It's because your files are corrupt. Either your download didn't finish properly or the files were bad to begin with. You are using winrar to extract your ISO?

then the files are corrupt. Download them from somewhere else. Unless it's from newsgroups and u have par files then you can repair and it will work.
