i am trying too install wad manger v1.4 with the wad file CIOSv7.wad & i keep getting the error message ret - 1035 what is the problem too cause me too get that message

What? You're trying to install wad manager with a wad file?

I think you mean you want to install CIOSv7 WITH WAD Manager right?

Yeah as mentioned you're not going to install was manager 1.4 with CIOSv7.wad. Wad manager is what installs wads.

And if you are trying to install CIOSv7.wad with wad manager and it isn't working either you are on 3.3v2 or 3.4 and you didn't install IOS16 and use the IOS16 Custom Wad Manager or you are on 4.0 and you didn't downgrade IOS35.

well i found this link & this is what it said too do too fix the first error message i got & that message was ret-1 & this is what the link said too do:

YOU NEED HBC AT LEAST INSTALLED!!!
BACKUP YOUR SD CARD ON YOUR PC
DELETE EVERYTHING ON YOUR SD CARD OR THIS WILL NEVER WORK

Download http://www.yafaze.com/wii/files/4.0NoCIOSfix.rar

Put the contents on your SD Card as it is in the .rar just drag all to SD Card.

Follow these instructions:


1.Run CMDVDX34 using HBC (Downgrade IOS35 and exit the app)

2.Install IOS35.wad using Wad Manager (any version) (if it fails, it's already installed, don't worry continue)

3.Then run Wad Manager (IOS35 Version) and install the CIOS7.wad
