What Happens if we try installing BAckup launcher if we already have it installed

I was getting the #002 error while trying to play Punch out and SMG.SO I decided to install the backup launcher with #002 error fixed.DO I need the cIOS_Rev7 or anything else or do I have the required and what do I need to do??

You decided to install which backup launcher?
SD/USB Loader 1.5? USB Loader GX? Coverfloader?
cIOS36 Rev7 is pretty old. USB support came with cIOS36 Rev9

And SD/USB Loader 1.5 needs Rev10

Notice change log for Rev9
[ CIOS36 rev 09 ]:

- EHCI module made by kwiirk added.
- Support for USB mode in DIP plugin.
- Removed NAND permissions check.


And also the Readme of SD/USB Loader 1.5
[ REQUISITES ]:

- Custom IOS36 rev 10 or above.
- USB/SD/SDHC device with one free partition for games.

You will need a cIOS but cIOS36_rev7 is kind of old.

I would recommend updating to cIOS38_rev12. It isn't the latest but it is more stable then rev13 or rev13b.

Just delete the old Launcher version and then add the new Launcher version.

But make sure you have updated your cIOS.

Updating cIOS could be done by installing the latest one directly??
and how to delete the old one and put the new launcher??

I installed cIOS 38 rev 12 and it worked .now no more error #002. I didnt change the channel though.
