First i'd like to say im glad to be here, second to the problem..
so ive just started backing up my games and i do this with xbc 2.9 and a kreon usb external that a friend used and has had 28+ successful backups. So what i've been doing is this...
1)putting a sony dvd+r dl 8.5 2.4x disc in my kreon drive
2)opening xbox backup creator 2.9
3) clicking on unlock drive then reading it and complete backing it up
4) this is where i sometimes like now am running into issues, i backed up my copies of halo3 cod4 fine with no issues and played the backups to see if they were fine and they were glorious, however those backups have two files present 1 which is a iso file and the other with is a .dvd file, both of the same name, but when i try to backup bioshock, masseffect, or gears of war 1, im not getting a .dvd file and when i try and click on the iso file is says something along the lines of "the archive is either unknown format or damaged"...why does this happen with some of my games???

Are you trying to make a backup of a backup or are all your games original 360 discs?

Are you trying to run them through abgx? It will automatically create the .dvd files. It might just be that your computer doesn't directly associate the .iso with anything?

all my games are original games, also i tried downloading XDVDMulleter to view the iso's that i had backup (masseffect, bioshock, gears..) to retrieve/create a .dvd file and still didnt work, but then i go back and confirm the burner and media etc works with halo 3 and it burns that just fine just doesnt give me the .dvd for the other 3 games and says theyre damaged

Make sure you have the most up-to-date backup creator. And also, XDVDMulleter is discontinued. Use ABGX 1.0.1. It is the most up to date(updated frequently)

not sure if its suppose to or not. I'd download abgx and see if it recognizes it.
