Hi Can any one help me flash a dreambox as i have lost some of the channels and can't recive satanta and sky movies, i am in lancashire in NW England and I haveneverflashed one b4

Don't no about that particular box but if you look in eamo's library(link under my pic)you may find some info.

As far as i can see all the info is in eamos library,you will need winrar or similar to unwrap it.

If you lost only a few channels you need a fresh channel scan and that is it.
Switch to a working channel, go to manual scan, enable network search and BAT and start the scan.

I seem to have lost everything now!!!! have flashed it but lost all chanels??? what do i need to do to start from the begining?

moxwon't switch off now to stand by and te remote is now not working since i flashed it with the latest up date

You killed your box without any reason. VM moved a few channels around and that was the whole problem. Now you have to find a working image first. I guess you flashed the rom files instead of a dreambox image.

yes thats the problem, where do I get the working image file??? and whhats the procedure for flashing? I did load the rom files and this caused me to lose all my data on the box

I have now got he working image firmwere on!! what file do i need to flash for up to date softwere,, which will work with TW in the north west of england ?

It depends which new image you got. At some images you have to enable the emu. Some others don't include the latest rom files and you have to upload the rom files via ftp to the folder var/keys at the box.

got the image from the dream box web site for the DM500c, when ts is loaded i can not scan anyn eoxionlhas limited SR numbers and thats all it does!! can you give me some sort of waysoprrooem out?

Unplug and replug and do a channel scan after you flashed your box via nullmodem cable.

I have now done a re-scan and it has found all the channels but my sports and movie channels do not come on my tv, do I need to download some other files to see these

no they are all there but when i go on to them it say the info at the bottom but then the screen goes blank???

no that has done nothing??? got all the freeviw channels but wont show sports or movie channels even though it see's them in the channel listings?
