PSP slim downgrading help needed

My mms and pandora battery that works great on an older psp will not work on my slim one.

Can someone point me to a decent guide on how to downgrade the slim, I did read through one of the guides that are stickied on this forum but it contains a lot of broken links and the information seems pretty basic and vague as to the correct way to do things.

Battery not really compatable but you can hold it and get away with it.

Some Slims cannot be pandora - ed, if its a lte one then you will have to look into chick hen.

MMS - try getting the latest program to make the MMS, early ones do not work on slims

Keep trying - for some reason some slims just do not want to go into the service mode.

I did manage to force my other battery into place but the screen stayed blank and no power light came on.
The slim psp otherwise is in full working order & is version 3003.
