Is this possible? I now have 2 nonworking DataTraveler USB drives. When I use WBFS, it says the drive is in use or not formated. But when I try to format it, it says it can't be formated. Whenever I try to use Windows to format it, it also says it can't be formated.

Are these drives now worthless? If I buy a new drive, how can I avoid this?

I've experienced this to the only way to revive is to run a windows xp instillation and when you pick your drive install windows on those to drives will show up as unknown partition then you can format it back to FAT and once its done you can turn it of but remember you have to activate the select os menu from start up by pressing f4 and f4 repeatedly. then when you select the xp you where running when you go to my computer your drive will be revived and you will be able to format it the regular way. i'll make a clearer guide later
