im getting an 80gb hdd , and going to use that to switch with my 18 gb hdd
my question is do i need a backloader to load all the information from the 18 gb to the 80 gb?
or could i just put all my game saves on there with a different method?
how would i move my resident evil 5 which takes up 5 gbs?
andf how will it remeber my username /password?

Use the back up utility.

Your username/password isnt stored on the HDD.

The backup utility will save your saved games and ps3 settings.

however it does not copy any installed games. after you insert and format your new hdd and then install the backup onto it, when you insert your game disk you will have to reinstall it, so the more games you have the longer it will take to install them all.

also the new hdd im getting the person already formatted
so im confused abou the process to get my stuff to the new hdd
and what does it mean when u use back up utility?
