Problems Flashing Liteon drive Need Help

I'm not sure how many people use the Mod disk instead of making a usb boot disk but thats what i've been using. I'm trying to flash this drive with a usb prob instead of one that connects to the serial port. I have everything connected and I'm following the instructions on the disk. When i try to extract te key I get DVD-Key Invalid. Then ask me if the dump was successful Y or N. So i'm selecting N because its not completing the dump. Can somebody help me out with this? I have been using the disk cause i'm unable to create a boot usb with Iprep008.8 or 006 I continue to get the No Valid Firmware error message. I don't know whats wrong with that either I've change the Ixdef and everything.

Don't I need to make a boot usb drive before i can use that? or does it do everything?

Thanks for the reply...I was able to get the key from the drive. Now before i erase the MTK Flash 32 should my Flash Chip properies be blank? I'm lookin at it and nothing is there. I clicked on Intro/device ID and it gave me a status 0x51 error and its still blank

not sure, its been about a month or so since i flashed my last lite-on. but just follow the JF guide, the pictures will show you and tell you exactly what you should do and how the JF windows should look.

I appreciate all the help I just hit erase Liteon it power cycled the ck3 and after it erased the chipset properties popped up.
