Delete the partition (make it blank), then dowload This software and format the partition to WBFS (make sure it is a primary drive) and then plug it in your wii and see if it works. Hope this helped.

Im a little confused. If you want to take the game you have on the partition (usb) already then simply open it up and drag the file to your desktop or an empty folder and it will copy. If you want to put a game ON the usb just do the opposite (vise-versa). If you want the USB loader channel on your wii, download This, place it in the 'WAD' folder in your USB's root (main folder) and then download This and place it in your 'app' folder (you may need to rename the '.dol' file to 'boot.dol' if it isnt already) and load the application through the Homebrew Channel after putting in the SD card into your wii, (it should be called 'Wadmanagerios16'). When it loads, select the WAD, press '+' and then click install and when it finishes restart the wii. Voila, I hope this helps you.

What are you using a SD Card or a USB Hard Drive to store the games?

You probably are using WAD Install and don't have IOS36-64-v1042.wad in the root of your SD Card. Either download and place it in the root of the SD Card or change the install to Network Install.

Try Wad Manager 1.4 instead.

What firmware are you on?

Also what steps have you done so far to softmod your system?

If your on 4.0 firmware and never have in the past softmodded it with a cIOS then it isn't as easy as throwing a cIOS on and installing any old WAD file that you want.

What is the serial # of your Wii system? Does it start with LU64 or LU65?

You do have Homebrew Channel installed correct?

Some HDD are just like that. Nothing you can really do except get a better compatible drive.

What USB Loader are you using and what directory do you have set for the covers?

G'day, need help. I followed the tut on installing USB Loader GX and I am unable to get any usb devices to load. So far I have tried 3 flash drives and 3 hard drives. All give the same error. No usb device found, etc... I have tried various times of hooking up all drives and still nothing. The most recent is a Seagate Freeagent Go 320Gb. I have tried uninstalling USB Loader and reinstalling but still nothing. Any help would be gr8tly appreciated.

Cheers m8

You should check here http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/U...patibility_List

Also read the notes besides the different devices listed that you are trying.

Also make sure that your cIOS is at least 9 or above.

Thanks for the quick reply AMatthews. I have previously tried that link and followed the notes exactly but still unable to see any drive. I have IOS37 v14.28, HBC 1.03. Absolutely everything else is working fantastic, HBC, Wii Backup Launcher, etc. It is getting really frustrating trying to get the USB Loader to work. Would be very gr8ful for any other suggestions.

Just thought I'd let you know that I've sorted out the problems. I installed Cios38 rev13a and voila!!! All good. USB Loader GX works like a charm. I have tried 6 different drives and all work immediately, from 1Gb all the way up to 1000Gb. Have loaded 23 on and so far all work flawlessly.

Cheers m8
