If you use the original disc and install the game to your hard drive then play the backup will it look as if you're playing the original? Would it even work? I don't have a lot of space on my hd at the moment to install games, so I cannot try it.

If you have run your backup through abgx and everything is ok, it will look like it is playing an original, and yes backups play fine after installing originals
