Well i ALWAYS wanted to do something cool with my sonic adventure 2 disc for gamecube (real disc) but i never had an action replay to do it...Now my question is, if i have a soft modded wii and i used a back up action replay...could i use my real sonic adventure 2 battle disc with it and it will work?

(Edit) Wait, im going to add to this question.... Does a Action Replay for the gamecube even works on a wii?

I don't own one so take that into consideration when reading everything that I say.

According to the website http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/GCN-A...__EF000194.aspx

The Action Replay is compatible with all Wii firmwares. I don't know if that was posted after 4.0 came out or not.
Also I think it is the new version advertised here that is compatible with all firmware. I don't think that the older version of Action Replay (that came with a memory card is)

So if the new version of Action Replay does not need a memory card to run and you have a backup of the new version of Action Replay then I'd give it a shot. Nothing to lose.
If I had to guess, I'd guess that you would run into a problem when you were switching the discs.

Yeah, the one i have needs a action replay memory card so im pretty much screwed...hey AMatthews, i wanted to private message you something but i dont know how.

For private messages you just have to click "Compose a private message" that is near the top of the screen right under Downloads and Glossary.
