I recently bought a "broken" PSP on Ebay so I could once again see what I was doing (my screen was broken). The only problem I have with it is that it appears a previous owner used some form of custome firmware on it, as I am unable to upgrade the PSP normally (Error mentions DRNFFFFFFCD).
I've never tried this sort of thing before, but apparently my route should be 2.82 -> 3.03 -> 1.5 -> 3.52 M33 -> 3.80 M33 -> 4.01 M33 -> 5.00 M33.
What I would like to know is whether there's an easier way to start this off, since the only 3.03 upgrades I come across are broken links or corrupted files?
look through the links below they are all working, if it already has CFW custom firmware you dont need a pandora battery the firmware version on the psp will show x.xxM33 if its custom
My PSP just says it's version 2.82, so I guess I'm gonna have to go down the ol' Pandora route then ¬_¬
I tried making a Pandora battery about a year ago, to no avail, but I'll give it a try anyway
After following the Magic Memory Card section word-for-word, it says it copies the files but it doesn't and doesn't show the last DOS box image. What could I be doing wrong?
