I flashed my Benny a few months ago and it ran fine not really used it much since I have 2 other ones. Now my son went to play a game and it gave him the E64 error, I turned it off and tried another game and it worked fine, put the first game back and it worked, now its giving me the error again. Is my drive dying? should I reflash it again maybe thatll fix the problem.

E64: DVD Drive Error - Dvd drive timed out during reset :Wrong firmware, dvd is without f/w chip, etc. This can also be caused by the tray not being fully closed on boot. also it could mean that the Kernel can't be launched/signature in NAND Flash chip is broken It could be possible after bad update. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry4156375 This might also be caused by a bad SATA cable.
You could try reflashing the drive. What firmware is on it already?

If it is randomly getting E64, the PCB board could be going bad. Try reflashing it and go from there.

As long as you have the DVDkey/original.bin you are fine. You can buy a new BenQ and flash the DVDkey to the new drive.

No problem. Just load your firmware that has your DVDkey to the 360 you want to use, load ix1.6 for BenQ, spoof, then flash.
