DVD+R Memorex works perfectly on my Wii, should i keep using it?

Does this mean that my Wii will always accept it

also, how long does one expect these burned backups to work?

There will be instances that it will fail in the middle of the game. Yes it works but not all the time. Failure rate will be 7/10. I suggest just get the verbatim -R.

but even those issues like Super Paper Mario freezing up after chapter 1-4 does not happen with the DVD+R Memorex so i assumed it will work well

Your lucky man, i keep accidentally getting memorex and i cant even get Memorex DVD+R to even load up.

Memorex DVD+R will break down eventually. I used them before I knew better.

In fact, a backup on Memorex +R that was working when it left my house was tried 6 mo. later at a friends house and it couldn't be read.

Kinda confirms my suspicions.

Verbatim or TY -R only since then.

Has anyone had any experience with Ridata +R? I have half a stack of those that seem to be working pretty good right now. I have only burned one that doesnt seem to work. Eventually i will switch to verbatim as these run out. I seem to have noticed though that most disks show up as ridata though.
