No DVDkey. I hope you have your original BenQ firmware with a legit DVDkey in it.

so i have a quick question leerage or anyone else. if you lose your dvd key are you pretty much screwed? like what i mean is this, does each drive have its own dvd key and it wil only accept that key or could you get a key from another drive that is the exact same kind and use that ine?

have you newer guys done any research at all?
If you lose your dvdkey, yes you're screwed. And to the OP, this did not work because you don't have the correct drive key, indicated by all the 7s up in the log. Do you have an actual good dump of the key?
need jtag help? Xbox 360 console repair? PM me or chat

The DVDkey in your firmware must match the key stored in the NAND flash of the XBOX 360 motherboard. If it doesn't match, the drive will only play DVDs. So yes, without your DVDkey, your XBOX 360 is an expensive DVD player.

Is there any other firmware that you could find located on your PC where you might have put? If you don't have a DVDkey, you'll need to get a new XBOX 360.
