can anyone help im having trouble with the eurovox max v box, i had all the channels then when i went to update it they all went now i cant find any channels on fast scan or power scan, my box now only says 8% signal so tried the new software still no joy but when i rest back to factory settings it says i have signal but still no luck finding anything.

Have you used the correct symbol rate for your area? Please read HiTeck's Scanning Guide for your SR info and instructions on how to input it.

yeah got the right rate i used to have all the channels then i had that 8% signal come up since then i cant find anything

Make sure you have the coax in the RF in socket on the back of the box. If the cabling is fine and you still have the same problem, then try flashing your box with this Max V 8% signal fix

yeah i got the cable in the rf port and ive tried the 8% fix. i get signal at one point then it goes again until i restore factory settings but still no luck in finding anything. i did have a point where i was only finding setanta and at the races. but now nothing

Have you tried the non working box on the same feed as the working box. What make/model is your working box?

Use a null modem cable to connect the two boxes (then go to Main Box) Press MENU > CONFIG > SYSTEM INFORMATION > PRESS OK. THEN PRESS 1968 ON REMOTE this will bring up new menu.

Screen will say set to set download.Then press program code download and wait for it to finish.

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU ARE DOING THE TRANSFER THE BOX IS IN STANDBY MODE

My search just finished It found channels but lots of repeats it probably found about 20 channels I tried to do the sort a-z but it crashed.

Try a reflash with the last working AU firmware http://www.4shared.com/file/77465847/498...V_30_11_08.html after reflash, factory reset and scan again from the direct feed.
