It's like this, every time I start USB loader gx, with my external HDD already hooked up, it won't recognize my HDD, I have to click on IOS249 then the 30 seconds timer begin, and with my HDD turned on, I have to unplug the USB and reconnect the USB for it to recognize, why can't it recognize it in the first place? It's annoying because I have to unplug and plug in the USB everytime I tried to load backups off the HDD, is there a fix for it so I don't have to do that and it'll just recognize my HDD everytime I launch USB loader without unplugging and replugging the USB cable?

nvm, it works like a charm after I tried the other USB port, so I don't have to unplug, replug again, but I wonder why, aren't they the same usb ports?
i had the same thing and I dont think its because its "wii specific hardware usb" because the other one works fine you just have to unplug and re-plug it in to make it work..
kinda annoying but I'll still take it over burning verbatims all day..

just wondering, if you knew it's annoying, why don't you use the other usb port without unplugging and replugging?
