Can anyone please tell me how to play MKV's on the 360. I thought that Tversity converted these on the fly but I keep getting Unsupported error messages when I play these on the xbox.

I have tried setting it to transcode all videos but that doesn't work and actually slows down the initial buffer time when I play xvids.

I also get the same error on Divx files, they play fine on the PC with VLC but not on my XBOX. Its like Tversity isnt transcoding at all


I have also tried a reinstalled and even tried the pro version. Still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am signed in yes. I didnt think that mattered tho cos I wouldnt be using the M$ xvid codec.

I've found it does matter. I can't play any videos if I'm not signed in, but maybe that's different for this format? Are you on the newest version of Tversity? Do avi's play okay?

AVI's play OK, only errors when I try play a MKV file. I am also running the lastest version

Weird. I don't see Mkv's much. Might have to convert them to avi
