I have a question. Can I play games on my broken PSP (the disc won't spin) without having to buy a special battery? MY brother has a working PSP, so I could burn games off of his and put them onto my memory stick.

if your psp already has custom firmware, then yes.

if it doesn't, you need pandora's battery and MMS.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

buying a pandora battery a.k.a (special battery) isnt vital as you can make a magic memory stick and convert your original battery into a pandora battery.

when i first unbricked my psp i followed this guide it tells you and gives you files needed to create mms (magic mem stick) and how to covert normal psp battery to pandora and back again!

happy modding!

great normal/pandora battery switches between the two options via coin button, once you finished with it as a service pandora battery it makes a great spare
