My PSP has been updated to software ver 3.95, the latest ver I think!!!
I installed devhook and emd emulator software and I couldn't run the software as the psp reported that the software was corrupt!
I presume that the system software needs to be rolled back??
Or does anyone out there have any suggestions?

I am new to all this, its just that my psp got damaged and wont play umd discs so I need to use it without them, what is cfw?Do you play the hames as iso images, what size memory card is best and roughly what size are the backups?

yes i play the games as iso images, and size of backups vary i mean i downloaded disneys up yesterday and was only a 331mb but yet i am dowloading family guy and it just over 1gb i use a 4gb mem stick and just delete the games when completed.
cfw = custom firmware basically custom firmware opens your psp to a lot more, such as homebrew and backups
the software you are trying to use can probably only be run on custom firmware! but with cfw 5.00m33-6 you can run iso without umd emulator's
then i installed te 1.5 kernel so hombrew can be played!
firstly you need a pandora battery as i know of then follow this guide here then use nework update to upgrade to 5.00m33-6 and if you wanna try homebrew apps and games then install the 1.5 kernel thats on the magic mem stick you create in the guide
