ok i have this burnout paradise iso that i backed up. i ran it through ABGX to patch it up and it all patched fine and everything was green, however when i burn it it burns 100% and completes but when i put it in the sexbox it doesnt play the game. any idea why? ive tried using different brand discs ive tried different burning programs and still the box wont recognise it, yet it passes the test on abgx.
THANKS

Why did you run it through ABGX if you ripped it yourself?

But you don't need to patch it if you ripped it yourself. You have a copy right there that you know works.

Yeah but what if my original gets scratched? you still need to patch it otherwise you'll get banned from xbox live. its easier to patch it using abgx rather than manually patch it yourself.

What? No, ABGX is completely unnecessary when ripping your own games. It's used to fix up games that people download. You know that the copy on your computer is good because it came from a real, working game.

ABGX is used to fix games, you can get a dodgy rip even if you do it yourself

No man, you can still get a bad game if it does not correctly rip the ss or dmi from the game and you can check this with ABGX

Chris4160 and etkasoe are right. Even if you rip games yourself, it is wise that you run your ISO through ABGX. You don't have to set the autofix to level 3. I have mine set at 0 on my rips just to check the SS, DMI, PFI, and game CRC to make sure it is all good.

What is the error you are getting when you put it in your 360? Open Tray or Dirty Disc Error?

Some people think that you can just burn a backup and it will work.
But you already said that you have iXtreme so I don't know why belenos asked that.
