WG Gamma Launcher: Auto Block Updates?

I've been doing some hefty searching but haven't found a concrete answer.

I am using a 4.0U NTSC-U (North America) WII with Larry's Tutorial to Soft Mod my Wii.

I'm using the Gamma Launcher (which rocks). My question is as follows:

Will games ask to update when Launching through the Gamma Launcher? Or does the Gamma Launcher block it from doing so?

Is there an option to deny the update? Or will it automatically install it? Can I enable an option somewhere?

I just don't want my backups or pal imports to brick my Wii obviously

The WiiGator Launcher should block the updates.

If you want to be 100% safe on Imports then google WiiBrickBlocker and run the ISO through that to disable the update on the game disc before burning.

I also forgot to tell you. Even if the update somehow was not blocked you would get a prompt to update. It would not do it automatically.
