Hello, I'm new to the Xbox 360 Community, I tried searching Blue Mobile, but nothing came up so anyways, I'm planning to swap out my 20GB HDD for a 120GB HDD by buying one of those 120GB Western Digital Scorpio HDD's. Now my question is would anything from that series work, because I found this one;

Will it work? Or would I have to buy the Newegg one which will work?

I'm questioning this because I could get the Tiger Direct one locally in about 30 minutes instead of waiting a couple days for the Newegg one to arrive.

It's the same model so either drive will work.

But can you go larger than a 120Gig? Or is the Xbox gonna limit higher capacity drives to only 120GB?

For example: would this 250GB Scorpio work fully, or would it be limited in size down to 120GB?

You are limited to the size of the hddss.bin file you are using. If you use one from the 60GB drive you are limited to that size. The largest at the moment is the 120 GB drive so the xbox will only "see" 120GB despite the actual drive being larger. There my be some wisdom in buying a larger drive with the hope that a larger 360 drive will be released in the future then you upgrade the hdss.bin file. ---Chikn
