The Homebrew Channel shoots your Wii to space.

I play games for a living.

If you are worried about homebrew "bricking" your Wii (Which it wont) I hate to be you when you install all those cIOS's

1) Backup Launcher is old. Neogamma is new http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884
1A) to get the Neogamma Channel http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165485
2) Superdump (Requires homebrew) dump your game in 30 minutes. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/780900
3) Make your Wii skip updates! Use preloader 0.29 and enable skip updates. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader
4) Scared of Bricking your Wii? Make an NAND backup! Install BootMii http://bootmii.org/install/

Very true, but if he/she has a Wii under 3.2 Boot Mii won't work and it will require messing with some .wads or updating it.

I dunno about you but I hate updating Wii's with out any backup protection.
