I see there's some HD .mkv movies and i can't stream them to my 360 since my computer isnt powerful enough to convert on the fly. If i convert them into .avi movies and stream them to my 360, would it show up in HD on my tv?

Yes it would. If you are converting to .AVI, it is best to convert to XviD.

It's called AutoGK, I use it for converting DVD files to .AVI Here is a screenshot of the settings I use for best results.

i downloaded autoGK, but it doesnt convert .mkv files. But its okay now i found a program that does. Thanks again still.

best to convert them to HD mp4 go to sourceforge and inthe search put video converter and search for the program that says something about the xbox and mp4 files. it converts mkv to mp4 which the xbx 360 can p,ly
