Is it safe to do game updates with 3.2U Softmod Firmware?

I have my Wii modded with the Zelda Twlight hacked 3.2U firmware. I recently just bought the Conduit, but the game asks for a game update in order to play it.

Is is safe to update to play the game or will this brick my system upon learning that it is modded? The game works fine if I load it into my USB Loader, but I actually want to use the game disc to play it. Thanks.

Download Preloader here http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader

1) Install Preloader
2) power off Wii and hold reset
3) Enable skip update check
4) Save
