This has been killing me for a few days now.

I have a mod chip Wii(cyclowiz). Made iso's with rawdump 2.1 and then back-ups of my games with nero 7. 6 all together. I kept the ISO files on my PC HD. Everything worked great. That was months ago. I haven't played the wii at all. I just updated the Wii to 4.0 a few days ago, and my chip is fully updated

here's the problem:

I bought 2 new games, rawdumped them to ISO's. When i tried to burn the iso's i got "power collaboration error". Researched that, tried some fixes, finally got it to burn with nero 7. Popped in back-up and the wii locked up when it tried to read the disc. Popped in one of my older back-ups and the wii played perfect. Tried the other new backup, wii locked up again. You can hold the power button and shut the wii down then eject the disc and all is normal.

I tried different speeds, media, software, and a completely different computer. The Wii locks up as soon as you put the disc in. I tried re burning one of my older ISOs and i got power collaberation error. I'm gonna try again now. Anybody have trouble with Rawdump 2.1?

I also tried using daemon tools to mount a game iso and do disc copy in nero, but still locked up my wii.

I'm pulling my hair out on this one. I have the same discs, computer, burner and software as a few months ago, and all of a sudden it doens't work anymore. I don't remember if i used rawdump 2.0 or not tho for older games.

I just made another back-up of mariokart with the iso i dumped a long time ago and it worked in my wii. I'm guessing RawDump 2.1. I didn't see any troubles with it tho? Are there new, faster dumping programs?

I just need another perspective here, I gotta be missing something.

Thanx in advance

I don't understand while people waste their time with the dump programs. It takes so damn long... Use USB Loader GX and buy a cheap USB flash drive or something. So much easier and less work for the Wii.

Not everyone can chip in $100 bucks in a USB drive

Anyways in regards to op question.

1) Try Superdump http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=163598
2) Try Imgburn, I have more luck with this than nero
3) What backup loader are you using? The latest is NeoGamma

1) Backup Launcher is old. Neogamma is new http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884
1A) to get the Neogamma Channel http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165485
2) Superdump (Requires homebrew) dump your game in 30 minutes. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/780900
3) Make your Wii skip updates! Use preloader 0.29 and enable skip updates. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader
4) Scared of Bricking your Wii? Make an NAND backup! Install BootMii http://bootmii.org/install/

my chip was only $50? and I had one of the first 50 cylcowiz chips made. hows that a better solution?

No back up loader. Just pop in my back-up and play as if its the original disc
