Ok i have an hdmi console that will not power on the power pack light stays orange, i have opened the case as te warranty was out anyway.
but everythig looks normal, ie nothing looks burnt or broken, the xclamps have been replaced the same as i have done to countless others, but the darn thing wont power up.
Before the xclamp fix it did power on for 3rrod now nothing at all.

Do you have another console you can borrow the ROL board out of? I was having a problem like this with one of mine and it came down to the board. Stuck a spare in and it worked fine. Not saying thats what your problem was, but it was for me.

I had bought that console off of a friend, he had taken it apart and didn't know what he was doing, didn't take the ROL board off and tried forcing the MB out not knowing..messed something up.

Yeah i tried a couple of rol boards but still the same thing, i got it advertised on ebay at the mo but i would have prefered to get it working tho.
