Hi Guys,

Ive came accross some new info in Layrrys new guide that was not there when I modded my system and am unsure if I need to do this..

I have wiigator gamma 0.3 installed as a channel and i see now there is a file called WG3g002fix that fixes a 002 error.

I have 2 questions realy if I may..

I have never had a 002 error and am not sure if this is something Im going to need or is it a specific problem to other regions from my Pal system?

Also in the section of larrys tutorial that gives the steps to add this file it says to add IOS36, IOS60Patched first but Im not sure I I need these as I already have my wii modded to system update 4 and have a recollection of adding these files when I did the system 4 update but cant be sure and am unsure if there is somewhere in the wii I can look to see if I have done them? Or can I just install them again with no worrys or would this mess anything else up if I have previously added them?

Appologies for the questions Im sure I can do these updates with no error but still get confused with all the wads and cIOS's available.

I appreciate your support..

Download Neogamma (which is an update from backup gamma) http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=6250

Inside the backup loader it has a 002 error fix.

1) Backup Launcher is old. Neogamma is new http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884
1A) to get the Neogamma Channel http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165485
2) Superdump (Requires homebrew) dump your game in 30 minutes. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/780900
3) Make your Wii skip updates! Use preloader 0.29 and enable skip updates. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader
4) Scared of Bricking your Wii? Make an NAND backup! Install BootMii http://bootmii.org/install/

Thanks again..

Alright.

How much do you know about home brew applications? You can install it as a channel and no it won't overwrite your old gamma. (you will need to run a .wad installer)

Here is the thread. http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884

thanks for the link and i searched the thread and see no guide to how to install or what dependant files are needed?
can u advise..

i have wad manager 1.4 and see the NeoGamma in the homebrew channel and when i choose to run it I get an info box saying do you want to install this, it may need certain cIOS files so install at your own risk..

Do I need any other cIOS files or wads to be installed with this?

Thanks again..

Alright I'll make this as simple as possible

Fist download the file here http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1959860/775222/ and follow the steps

1. Copy IOS38-64-v3610.wad onto the root of your SD card.
2. Copy cIOS38_rev13-Installer directory into the apps folder on your SD card.
3. Copy wadmanager1.4 directory into the apps folder on your SD card.
4. Copy USB Loader GX-ULNR r489.wad in the wad folder on your SD card.
5. Unplug hard drive from wii
6. Load up HBC with the SD card and go to the apps folder. Load the rev13 installer folder.
7. Select IOS 249 and install it. This installs rev13a.

If you don't have a USB hard drive (you can save games on a 500gb usb harddrive and load from it) you can skip step 4 .

If you don't want to install a channel and try the program first put NeoGamma r4 inside the apps folder in your SD card. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=6250 OR you can use the .wad I gave you before.

This should update your Wii to play all the new games. Ghostbusters, The Conduit ...ect on a DVD

I forgot to say the .wad WILL install a channel and the app will NOT install a channel. You don't need both I think having a channel is nice. Rather than keep going to homebrew and run the NeoGamma.

BTW NeoGamma is an updated version of Wii Backup Loader 0.3 gamma
