I am using JungleFlasher and I have come across a problem that no one else seems to have. I bought a 360 with a Samsung (TS-H943)MS28 drive. When I go to flash it though, the drive comes up as a LiteOn the specifics are as follows on the MTK tab;

Vendor: LiteOn
Name: CD-ROM LTN486S
F/W Rev: YUS6

I then go to Intro/Device ID and it goes staight into vendor mode with flash chip prperties as follow;

Vendor ID: 0x2
Device ID: 0x78
Name: Unknown type
Size: N/A
Type: Parallel flash with status 0x70

when I go to read, erase or write, it says that it is an unknown flash type. any help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Are you sure that isn't the CD/DVD drive in your computer?

The Lite-ON drive for a 360 is PLDS DG-16D2S.

The only reason a Samsung would show up as a Lite-ON is because the Samsung drive was a replacement. The original drive was a Lite-ON and who ever had it before you spoofed the Lite-ON info to a Samsung drive.
