dropped 2 xbox 360s and a ds lite off with this guy last friday.called him yesterday no answer so left voice mail. emailed last night no reply. rung him today voice mail. anyone else had this top quality service?
Why did you choose him in the first place? A 360 can be flashed in 10-15 minutes, so it's a good idea to wait while it's being done if you don't know the modder.
based in bolton. some peeps on here and xbox scene said he was ok. so being local dropped the 2 360s off for reflow.the ds needed power switch. he won't return email or calls. will go round prob monday night to see him.just wondered if anyone on the forums now knows the guy?
I wish I hadn't went with him. He promised me a pick-up date so I had to make sure a member of my family was in the house as I work full time and live alone (I live in the capitol so I can't afford to take a day off and sit by the front door waiting for deliveries) and it didn't come until 3 days after he promised. A full three weeks later the same happened again with the repair delivery, later than promised and didn't seem to care about inconveniencing my family.
Had my 360 back and 4/ 5 weeks later it broke again and the same thing happened again. Later than promised pick up and delivery, no appology.
About seven weeks later the 360 failed again with the exact same problem. The pick up time was as promised this time but the delivery was late.
In the end I got a refund (at least that didn't take forever), I should of just bought a brand new replacement at the start and saved myself the grief.

We have a nationwide contract with Parcel Force to offer collections and deliveries in the UK, we cannot help if Parcel Force have let us down, we don't send a driver to collect your console from here. Every courier company in the land fails to make collections and we do apologise to our customers if this happens.

I don't recall your console though, how you describe the fault and definetly not the fact that it kept failing with it ending in us giving a refund.
We have a full Infrared reflow oven here, with Infrared and hot air rework stations, 99% of the time and full reflow of your main board fixes the problems on the Xbox 360, somtimes though the main board can be warped from the initial over heat that causes the fault, in the case the only fix is a reball of the GPU and CPU, even Microsoft don;t do this, they replace the board.

You failed to mention in your mail that you had tried to replace the on/off switch yourself and lifted tracks on your main board, this caused problems during the repair, but we did repair your console, even after the circuit board damage.
We are a professional and ltd registered company that is extremely busy each day, either on the telephone or at our premises. We do state that if you cannot contact us by phone, then email as this comes through to the workshop.
We carry out alot of console repair every day, not just for private individuals, but also for high street retailers.
I have heard of this company but only my mates have used them. They rate them highly and travel over 20 mins to deliver personally.
Would you prefer to get your kit fixed by someone sat around twiddling thumbs or someone busy that people are using all the time?? Clue is in the question.....
