Thats because the dreambox fix is a DIY job by someone kind enough, weras the krypt one was for the sales and $$$
FTA fixers gone moneyhungry.

Very good. It's a great hobby for computer science heads to tinker with this type of challenge. The amount of time the developer spent working on the fix would have paid for 10 years of subscriptions but it's all about challenge of reverse engineering. Bet they don't even watch TV :)
Who worked on the fix or was it a group effort?

well done whoever was kind enough to go to the trouble 
i'm personally glad to see a lot more folk's enjoying free viewing. I don't own a dreambox so i'll leave it up to the the owner's of these boxe's to say thank's to the author's.

will this fix the current problem with missing n*l cable channels in Ireland.
if so, can it be flashed to box using dream up .
Im Not familiar with FTP if anyone has a tut on how to do it,
it would be grrrrreeat !!

You can see the keys by opening the hypercam.keys file with an editor like Textpad in windows.
This could be a negative thing in the long run.

Hiya Scouser, Time to dust off my old sagem in the morning , i take it that this will work on the dbox also, just one bit of advice how do you change to attributes chmod 755? to add the cam.. thanks

yes dude i did,tryed to start it manualy or via telnet just getting:
Starting hypercam v1.06
Settings reloaded

Should do suse but have not done so myself yet as I am not at home ;) Via an FTP prog just right click the file and change attributes.
I have seen it working on a Dreambox as I have fixed one or two since ;)
