There is an image Lenny made all you have to do is flash that image using dreamup click no to flash erase when flashing
when that finishes do an automatic scan using bruteforce 6887 when that is finished press blue button,,,tuxbox commander,go to VAR ,
then go to BIN, then go down to the bottom to Hypercam 106 and press ok to execute then go back to skysports 1 and wait 1 minute and change station ALL SHOULD BE BACK IF YOU PLUG OUT THE BOX YOU WILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO TUXBOX AND REPEAT THE STEPS

will you still lose the channels with the dk 1.1 image if you unplug it.also i dont know how to do it other than with a null modem cable,as long as i can get it to work ill be happy thanks.

Ye you will still lose the channels. Just stick to the way that you know. It is annoying having to execute the cam but just leave it on standby and dont plug it out and all will be fine

Yes it will if it was edited correctly or the script was edited in var/script. But as everyone just seems to be using an already updated image then there is not much to be learned. There is also more than one working cam?

Why not fix the image you have done? Did you delete all files in the keys & scce folders. Are you using the DK 1.1 image? Did you select hypercam from add ons or direct download?
Mgcamd will also work have you tried that? If I put an updated script to start hypercam here then it would defeat the purpose, but if you want me to do that I will.

Im using dk1.1 and got the hypercam through direct download and not add on. I havent tried the other things you say but i will.
If you did put up your image then im sure it would make it easier for other people but im happy the way it is at the moment.

Quick way is to edit the evocam script in var/script and replace all instances of evocamd with hypercam,(just edit via notepad+). Reboot and it will start the cam.

Well done and you done it yourself by reading and solved the problem :) Those pre-made images are not all they seem.I know you upped one, I am joking :)

Hi everyone, i have only one question before i start to try and get my two 500C'S working,the last DK image on both boxes was updated about a year back are these the DK1.1 Images i need?
I have a nul cabel and will try and follow the whole process tonight thanks in advance to all the hardwork that has been domne weather i get my fix or not.

Ye you were saying the DBOX fix works also for dreambox500c. Is that easier to do i havent really looked at it?

Yes its as easy to do but unless you are not happy with hypercam I wouldn't bother changing it or at least not yet ;)
