Hitachi flash firmware toolbox problem

Im trying to flash my hitachi 79fl drive using firmware toolbox. I know its in mode b and althought i dont know what mobo i have, i know the sata ports are working because firmware toolbox did half of the stuff correctly. My problem is when i go to the differential flash (PATCH)and click read and detect differences, the movie i have in the xbox stops spinning and then a cannot read from drive error appears. I have searched for a long time on how to fix this but i haven't really come up with anything. please any help is greatly appreciated.

aight i think i fixed it, but is there a way to check and see if your flash worked without jutst burning a game and seeing if it works

Firmware Toolbox 4.8 will only patch firmware with ix1.4.

ix1.51 is needed for wave 3 games.

I'm having the same problem with my Hitachi 78, can you tell me what you did to finally get it to work? Thanks.

firmware toolbox will only update your firmware to 1.4. to play the new games you need the latest firmware for hitachi which is 1.51. use jungle flasher to flash your 360. its alot easier than firmware toolbox. read leerages tutroail on how to flash with jungleflasher.

You also need to unlock the drive once its in mode b with the 79 unlock cd!!
