Hi All,
Just received a KRYPTVIEW ,setting up here in Waterford,
when I scan it finds all the channels but will only allow me see the FTA CHANNELS,I have loaded the latest software ,which was dated
19/03/09 when I check the software on the box it is saying software is from 12/08.I have swithched the box to standby and left it sitting for a few hours and has not updated.Also when I switch it off /standby and switch back on again it always brings me to the easy instalation menu from which I can not get out off.I does not seem to hold channels.Any help would be great.thanking you in advance.

Thanks a mill for that ,but i have read that thread,I tell you my problem is after the firmware is loaded and channels are found only the fta channels come in,is it correct software that says 25/12/2008 evolution v1.7.00 ,H/W VER V1.2.00 .if this is wrong software how can I delete it and replace with newer software ?

No bodder...
If u go back to that thread, in the 2nd post, click to get loader and correct firmwar.
That should sort u out.
Firmware is Kryptview_19032009, thats the latest.

Thanks the box does not let me update software ,when I load it ,
it comes up loaded sucessfully but when I go back in it is still them same software on box.Is their any way of deleting software completely or is this supposed to happen when new software is loaded on ??

Im not really sure wot the story is so....
It should be taking upload and showing you the new firmware on it especially if its sayin loaded successfully...
Are u 100% certain that u r following the step by step instructions on the thread and loading Kryptview_19032009?
Im only new to Kryptviews meself and havn't had much experience with them, sorry I can't more.
Hopefully the experts will see this thread and offer a bit of advice!

When you are loading the firmware is your box on or off. Make sure your box is off at the back, before you press the download button on the loader, then as soon as you hit the download, switch it back on at the back, otherwise it will not work.

Thanks e45 BOX definitly off,think might be dodgy box ,as every time i switch it on after switching it on to standby I have to go threw whole instalation process again.

It has to be switched off at the back of the unit, not put on standby, then press the download button, the switch the back switch back on again straight away, after that you will still have to scan the box for the channels, as the firmware does not put them on your box.

Well first thing i would do, is factory default the box and unplug all cables, then put your tv cable back into the box and now do a fresh scan, but unless you can update your box, you are not going to be able to watch the encrypted channels.
