I have a 4.0J w/ wiikey1 1.9x and i have successfully softmodded it...i can seem to play the new games like punch-out with success using larryje's guide with backup launcher. When i had 3.2j i could still load my backups from the disc channel. Is there a way to bypass this and get disc channel working again on 4.0j? I know this is not a big deal since i can get my games working but it seems more easier to just pop the disc and go!...is my wiikey useless now?

Note: i have follow larryje's extra steps guide to use the trucha signer exploit but still no luck in getting my previous back ups to work.

I was thinking of just downgrading everything to 3.2 and region change the whole system to a US wii then update using "Waninkoko's 4.0 updater" because i read you can play backup games directly from the disc channel but i would lose all my backups since they are patched with regionfrii to jap.

Any suggestion or advice would be appreciated and thank you for taking your time in reading my thread.
