The other day i bought a 360 rrod fixed it and flashed it, i used jungleflasher v1.62 and the ixtreme firmware v1.6 for samsung (my drive is a sammy ms25)
The flash finished and said flash ok, now a few retail games i borrowed from a friend would not play at first went straight to play dvd then a black screen with a error after rebooting the 360 that never happened again on retail games plays them all perfect now (except gta4 for some reason)
When i try to play a burned game i get open disk tray but if i boot the 360 and have the settings to play the game at start up it boots the game just fine i get my capcom screen pop up goes to the start screen but when i hit start it says check if disk is cleaned could not read data.
That leads me to believe that i did the flashing right but maybe my back ups are at fault here?
I used clonecd a dvd+rdl disk and my dvd burner is LG GSA-H22L i burned on 2.4 speed i also used imgburn that back up wont even load period.
Help here would be great i have only tried this one iso so maybe it could be a bad iso? (i did run the iso through abgx360
and it came out successful)
They are memorex dvd+rdl, I just managed to get the game to full load played it for about 20 minutes till i got that Clean the disk and try again error.
So im guessing my flash is not the problem here and cheap media is?

If you can't get Verbatim, I would install the game to the hard drive and you will save the life of your laser.
If its just a simple matter of getting the verbatim dvds that's not a problem, what im worried about is why it will load my back ups on the memorex some times and even play some times then next time it wont even read the dvd.
Can Cheap brands of dvds really cause this? I have burned hundreds of ps2 and xbox one games with many brands of dvds and if the dvd was a bad burn or bad quality of dvd it just would not load.

The laser will struggle to read through the dye. That is why it is recommended to get Verbatim. Some people have luck with Memorex and they will work. But it rapidly decrease the life of the laser because of the strain on the laser. You could try increasing the laser strength with a POT calibration, but that might decrease the laser life even more trying to read through crap dye.
What confuses me is if the laser was having a hard time reading the data then it should not play the game at all correct?
But if the solution is as simple as buying the verbatim dvds i have no problem with that what so ever, that was my best case scenario.
One last question seeing how i was having a problem playing retail games the first time i tried to play that copy would a pot calibration be in order any way? (a link to decent guide would be helpful to:) )
Well a little update since i had to order my verbatim dvds online, i figured i would try the rubber band trick and now the game loads every time even in the dash board but after 20-30 of game play it goes back to that same error.
Guess ill just have to wait till the new dvds get here.
Just as a last note could there be any other problem to cause this?
