Works fine for me just transfer the magic files from the C10d image, chmod 755 mgcamd and it works with a problem. Although as you know each box differs and one image may work fine on one and not another.
have you tried different ucodes? Either way C10d is a very stable image so stick with it. Obviously I am not Mandrake then :)

Actually I had a mate's box running perfectly with Commando 11, but mine wouldn't. I very happy with C10, good image. See talk of a fix for EVs, don't suppose there's any talk of a fix for Replay Lite. C'mon ye Yids !

how do you flash a new image? does the file go in tmp and do you have delete old img file?

Hi take a look back through the thread there is a lot of info there in relation to fixing it. If you want to learn how to do it from start to finish take a look in Eamos at the end of my post for comprehensive guides, etc.

What can I say. Thanks a million. Went on holidays had a baby 6 weeks earlier than expected and was stuck in a regional maternity hospital for a few weeks. Kids got used to their grandparents having cartoons again and didn't want to go home. Come home and saw this. The Dbox is now fixed. We have peace of a sort in the mornings and evenings. Thanks CathalDub. BTW I assume this is a N2 fix only?

Thanks Scouser. I cant forget the box though. 2 am feed and having a choice of some serious crap to watch again other that tv3 and rte is a pleasure. I missed my sons of anarchy, Sports channels back for tri nations ....... NEW BABY...... Life is good again for a while.

Not a liverpool fan at all. In fact I am not a soccer fan really. I do go to all the Irish soccer home matches with a friend whose dad willed both of us his 10 year tickets but other than that no. Rugby is my game. Leinster fan in particular.
I would love to change the boot screen. Is there a idiot proof way to do it.

A the Box is not a DBox
A the box is a starview2, will only work on Ch0rus cable in Ireland, there is no Nagra2 fix for this box

Couldnt get the new fix working on Commando 8 image
Flashed the box with Commando 10b and now its working like a dream. The new updates to Commando are pretty decent too!
Only one problem though...getting skipping issues from time to time, as if the box keeps glitching...kind of hard to explain!
Anyone come across this?

Its probably a cabling issue are you using a splitter or is it connected to the main incoming feed?
Also is it a Nokia or Sagem?
