Hello, everyone.
I've...ah... accidentally fried my battery and it will take me a while to get a new one.
However, I really need to update CFW now. My current CFW is 3.71 M33, PSP Slim.
Is there anyway to do so with the adapter?
I would really appreciate any tips you would give me or even if you would just tell me it's impossible.

Can you not just plug it into the adapter without the battery in? I'm pretty sure I've done that.

Of course you can run the psp without a battery, but I think he's asking how to bypass the battery check for the downgraders/cfw installers.

I've read that you can bypass the battery check by holding L and Triangle when you get the battery warning. I've never tried it though.

Don't jiggle your cable, though, or it's a brick. You may be better off waiting.
