Hey Guys,
I know it's been ask, and I know I might be flamed for it, but please I would really appreciate a straight forward answer to my problem. I have a modded Wii, and I was hoping if someone can explain to me how to burn games. Step by step, so i can get a clear picture on how to do it. I've used the search engine in this forum and it isn't really good. Thanks in advance and I really do appreciate it.

Mike

Don't worry man, these wii boards rarely flame people lol.

First off, what your going to want to get is some Verbatim -R DVDs. REASON WHY The Wii likes -R dvds and verbatim is the best way to go.

Secondly, you can use imgburn or Nero to burn. People have different opinions on this, but i personally think imgburn is better.

Thirdly, Burn on the lowest speed. 4x preferred.

Lastly, Play & Enjoy

(I Might update...in the meantime read and enjoy, ask any questions.)

Oo, So I don't particularly need a LG Burner? I was reading everywhere that an LG burner is necessary.

Burning games is different then ripping the games. To rip the games (create a copy) you need a specific DVD drive. To burn them you do not need anything specific. I have even got my backup copies to work with some Ridata +r's that i had left over.

This is what the LG drive is for. If you don't have one of the ones that can read games then you will have to use your Wii to read it using either the Wii DVD Dumper (slower) or the USB Loader (faster) to dump the game somewhere.

Ok, after looking in many forums it seems Verbatim DVD-R is the most reliable disk to use. I've now burnt games with these and I?m still getting the same error. I must be missing something here and the moment someone points it out I'm gonna look like the idiot I deserve too!!PLEASE Help me out!!!!!!!!
