Just wanted to say that the PlayStation emulator for Wii, WiiSX has seen a little bit of nice progress.

Many games play at or above full speed now.
You can check it here http://code.google.com/p/pcsxgc/

But before you do please realize that it is still in beta, and is still basic.

You need a Gamecube controller
You need the PlayStation bios
Games need to be either bin or img with a cue

Here is the compatibility list we are working on at GBAtemp http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/WiiSX_compatibility_list

It's still pretty bare since it just started yesterday.

I just finished trying Metal Gear Solid and it works pretty well.

Let me know how it goes.

If you don't have a cue you can create one with ImgBurn.

Yeah if you don't already have one.

It's under Tools.

You can also use ImgBurn to make a cue and bin from a disc.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is working pretty well, about 50 FPS, just no music.

Edit:
Xenogears is working, Mega Man X5's opening stage works but it freezes when it's time to select a stage.

IMHO the GC controller does not do justice when playing PSX games. For that reason alone i will continue playing my PSX games on my PS2 and or PS3 and pass on the emulator.

now i know i may get some backlash for this comment but for any of you that have held the dualshock controller, i hope you may side with me on this one!

HELP! LOL!

I'll add it to the compatibility list.

Just got done with Bust-a-groove 2. That also works and pretty much like 1. To user above...well this is just a beta, they will most likely have (for example) the classic controller and others compatible.

I have a dual shock controller. But as mentioned before this is an early beta of the emulator. Classic Controller support will surely be added soon.

And hopefully loading from USB as well.
