ive searched an no one has been able to give a concrete response.
will it become a Wii standard with some time? will all forthcoming games eventually support it?
is it worth to spend the money now or wait untill there is a definate need?
i know that grandslam and tw pga 10 support it but is it worth spending another $$$ on another Ninty peripheral?
any comments?
HELP! LOL!

Well. i don't know if you will call this a concrete answer but just like someone told me YES. I didn't like grand slam but if you play wii sports resort than you will know its defiantly worth it...i just cant get enough of the fencing games.
(Edit) But on a further note, its a hot $%# accessory BUT i think its a little too much asking 20 bucks for something the wii should have already had

well i've thought the same thing! this should have been an option from the getgo!
i havent played WSR so i couldnt tell you if its an absolute must for me. here in Canada its $30...stupid price for a peripheral like that. but then again Ninty is a corporation which survives on profits and thus need to make money on crap like this.
i will probably buy it when its an absolute must! have you all picked it up? or do you feel like i do?
HELP! LOL!

So far the library that supports the WM+ is 3 games... Tiger Woods Golf 10 is awesome, so if you enjoy golf its a must buy. Grand Slam Tennis is an advantage to have the WM+. Wii sports resort requires the controller and will probably be awesome once I get a hold of the NA release.
As for Virtual Tennis 2009, I heard that it plays better without the WM+ but I haven't played this game since the Grand Slam Tennis functions great so why have another tennis game..
Is it worth it? Well for the limited library of games to support it currently, its not worth it. I got 2 of them with some gift cards I had received over the last 6 months, so it didn't cost me anything. I am enjoying the TWG10 and the GST games, but its pretty late into the life span of the Wii. Once more games support it (Red steel 2 supports WM+ and looks awesome) it will be worth to buy.
After playing with the controller for a few weeks I do have some complaints with it. The jacket that come with the WM+ doesn't give you access to the batteries easily (just like the normal jacket). I have rechargeable Li-ion batteries that have a plastic cradle that you slide the controller into to charge. In order for me to recharge the batteries I got to unlock the WM+, remove it from the jacket which is a hassle every time I need to recharge the controller. Second, the 1 and 2 buttons are hard to access when you have the WM+ connected. So if you need to play a game using the sideways 'nes style' method, you gotta disconnect the WM+.
The WM+ without the jacket looks and feels cheap so it's better if you leave it inside the jacket.

thats another caveat i have...
i NEVER use the jackets...i find they feel like crap and prefer holding my wii remote without the damn ninty condom!
now they go and put out another $30 peripheral with a crappy Magnum size condom! lol!!!
if i would get the WM+ i would lock it sans jacket! lol...im holding out for New Super Mario Bros Wii!
HELP! LOL!

Yah I hate the jackets too, but with the WM+ controller it feels more like a solid controller with the jacket than without. I tried it without the jacket and there is this plastic edge to the bottom that doesn't feel right. The locking buttons stick out more and the screws on the bottom look like shit compared to the controller.

I have Virtua Tennis 09 without motionplus and its harder to do different shots accurately. Its alright without motion plus but I think its better with it because its easier to do a variety of shots because motion plus is more sensitive and accurate. In my opinion, motion plus is worth it.
By the way, if people want to test motion plus, play virtua tennis with no motion plus for a week, then just buy one and test it. You'll realise that there's a big difference. That's what I did.

about it becoming the standard, It depends on the games your into
FPS (then no)
Sports (yes)
Mario (who knows)
It your don't need it now (for a current game) then wait I am sure the price will not go up.

ya i'm holding out! i haven't checked out WSR yet...may check it out if i find an NTSC version out there...
also it wouldn't help FPS games? i've heard that the controls on The Conduit is excellent but it could possibly help Red Steel (lol!!!) or call of duty: WaW....etc....
Mario....not sure yet either...! can't wait though!

Wii sports resort is awsome!!! I have had a blast enjoying it. It sucks that i had to buy yet another acc for the wii..... BUT, I feel like the wiimote actually works like it was shown to when the system was first unvailed at E3 long ago. So yes go get it and try it out

I'm actually getting an itch now to go out and pick it up! The only thing holding me back is that i really don't have any games that will test out the full capacity of the WM+...unless...
Wii Sports? Has anyone tried it out with Wii Sports? Have you noticed a more precise control like on the Wii Sports Golf?
I also just wanted to send out a quick plug for my blog (its the link in my Signature...lol!)...
If anyone has some free time...check it out...theres some cool stuff on it and i will post pretty regularly!
HELP! LOL!
