I'm about to use Jungle Flasher?

Ok, before I try this on my BenQ drive I need to know if it's ok to have my Xbox hooked up to Live. Also I've downloaded Jungle Flasher v1.6 and have installed PortIO Xbox 360 driver.
The thing is now when I try to open Jungle Flasher it says something about an error. Is this because I have no 360 drive connected to my PC yet? Or is it because of some other reason?

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.
That's the error I get, I installed the PortIO32 device driver is there something else I need to do?

I got it, it was because of my .net
Now it opens, is the next step to open my 360 and take out the drive and connect it to my PC?
I have one more question. After I do this will I still be able to play regular 360 games, or just backups?

Read the Jungle Flasher tutorial. It will explain it all.
Most drives firmware can be read via SATA. But if it is a Lite-ON you will need a key reader.

I just found out that it is a Lite-On!!
I did't open it yet, I thought it was a BenQ but I was told to look in the little hole in the front and see what color wires I had. Of course they were yellow, LOL. I guess BenQ and Lite-On's have the same disk tray.
Ok, so now what do I need?

You can go with the CK3 Lite/PRO connectivity kit with probe. Or there is the Maximus Xtractor PRO with spear. Or you can make a homemade spear. I like the probes made by CK3 or Maximus because the have a light indication that you are making a good connection when you probe the R707 hole.
